JRE Tobacco Co. is adding a third size to its Aladino 85 Aniversario Reserva line, and this one is long and thin.
The Aladino 85 Aniversario Elegante is a 7″ x 38 lancero that keeps the line’s all-Honduran Pinareño blend, with Pinareño wrapper, binder and filler. It’s made in Honduras at Fabrica de Puros Aladino. The company says the format lets the Pinareño seed’s flavors come through, and calls it “one of the most challenging vitolas to produce,” which is why quantities will be limited. JRE also notes that the size is “a favorite vitola among the Aladino ladies.”
The line debuted at the 2025 PCA show with a Robusto (5″ x 50, $17.50) and Toro (6″ x 52, $20.00). According to JRE, the Elegante will be Aladino’s sixth elegante vitola. The Aladino 85 Aniversario landed No. 4 on Cigar Dojo’s 2025 Cigar of the Year list.
Distribution is tight. The Elegante goes only to Aladino Reserva accounts that already carry both the 85 Aniversario Robusto and Toro, and each store is limited to two boxes per month. JRE says it will be available year-round in limited quantities, with shipping starting the second week of November. The cigars come in 20-count boxes at $22.00 MSRP per cigar.
