Cigar Dojo is not just a cigar app. Cigar Dojo is a tight-knit community, and it’s that community that makes the Dojo such a great place to hang out. Each and every year, Cigar Dojo will induct new members into the Cigar Dojo Members Hall of Fame and they will be enshrined forever – right here on this page. Members are picked to be inducted into the Hall of Fame for a variety of reasons, with an emphasis on those that support the Dojo (not in any financial way) through friendship and fellowship. It’s given to those that are above the drama, representing a positive influence for the Dojo community.

Halloween 2014 the Dojo changed forever when turtle signed up and joined the community. Turtle is a hardcore Dojo member who posts daily and makes the community a better place. Turtle is also a member of the Hall of Fame group the Chi-town Crew.
Daniel R
Daniel Rivera a Dojo member since May 2016 is a pivotal member of the Dojo community and also the creator of the Dojo Brother’s in Blue Challenge Coin. Daniel’s participation and his dedication to the community has etched his name into the Hal of Fame.
Mooseking
It wouldn’t be a proper morning on the Dojo without Mooseking’s daily post that wakes up every member. Mike is a deeply integrated member of the community through his participation and welcoming nature.
Cigarcurt
Wyoming’s own Cigarcurt has been gracing the Dojo community with his participation since March 2014. Curt’s legendary Dojo table is a staple of imagery in the Dojo community and his cigar stands are in lounges all over Dojonation.
BillCD
Bill CD is the father-figure of the entire Dojo community and has made the trek to several Dojo events all over the country. Typically joined by his lovely wife Pat, Bill has become an indispensable member of the community that warms the heart of every member.
GROUP: Chi-Town Crew
The Chi-Town Crew started couple of years ago when Adam, Juan, and the WB got together at a local cigar lounge. Juan’s wife Terri created the logo for the group which has become one of the most recognizable logo’s in the community. The Chi-Town Crew meets regularly in the Chicago area and shows no signs of slowing down.
Kevin and Karen Hughes the couple that everybody are friends with. And for good reason because these are two of the nicest folks on any side of the Mississippi River. But Kevin and Karen are more than that, they are also pretty darn good cigar photographers and have been treating Dojonation to their art on a daily basis for years.
Stogie Chas
Chas? Or is it the Godfather?? Either way Chas has been a loyal Dojo member since 2015 and is quick to help promote the Dojo on other social media platforms. Chas has also been to several Dojo events including traveling to Nicaragua with the team. Chas is like your favorite uncle that you aren’t sure if he’s gonna give you a hug or have you whacked and that’s why we love him.
Kevin Acuff
Some Dojo members represent pure loyalty and Kevin is one of those guys. Not only is Kevin a consistent Dojo poster but he is also instrumental in helping us each year with the Dojo BASH in Las Vegas. Kevin’s behind the scenes help and loyal Dojo presence earns him a spot in the hall of Fame. Kevin is the kind of guy that would not only give you the shirt off his back, he would give you the shirt off someone else’s back.
John Parker
The Hotel tycoon. One might think that John Parker made the Hall of Fame simply due to his ability to help the Dojo crew get good Hotel deals but that would paint only a small picture of why John is now in the Hall. John has always been quick to order every Dojo release to support the community and has traveled far just to visit with the Dojo crew. Not only that but John shares his vast travel cigar experiences on the Dojo app which allow us to live vicariously through his posts.
Señor Cigar
Kevin Bristow brightens our day on the Dojo. What would a day on the Dojo be without seeing Kevin’s happy face on the Dojo App? Don’t let Kevin’s current join date fool you he has been on the Dojo for a VERY long time posting every day and making the community a better place.
BigDStogie
Marllo a quiet guy with a HUGE impact on the Dojo. Marllo has been extremely generous behind the scenes showing up to Dojo events with incredible Dojo gear to hand out to those that made the event just out of the kindness of his heart. No group of smokers looked cooler than the Dojonation at last year’s La Zona Palooza and that was thanks to Marllo!
Tampa Dojoer
Bob MacDonald might be the most supportive member of Dojonation in the history of the Dojo. Bob is a no nonsense kind of guy and has always been a tireless Dojonation promoter persuading all kinds of folks into joining our fabulous community. Moreover Bob posts on the Dojo app every single day without fail and that’s why Bob is now in the hall of Fame.
DirtyBirdieNut
Jeff Todd… a man among men. While it’s true Jeff has no filter that’s also one of the reasons we love him so much. Jeff is like the dad to the entire Dojo crew, always looking out for us making sure we are safe and getting us from point A to point B in his bitchin’ smoking wagon. Without question the Cigar Dojo would not be what it is today without Jeff.
Cigar Cop
Possibly the funniest human I have ever met. Barry Driscol with his thick Boston accent has had the Dojo crew literally in tears on several occasions during trips such as Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival and our trip to PA for the Protocol Night Stick. Barry keeps Dojonation rocking with his consistent #nowplaying posts yet Barry makes it into the Hall of Fame because the Dojo just wouldn’t be the same without his nightly posts from his dog house. Barry is the glue that really makes the Dojo community the best cigar community on earth.
moose77
Spectators often gaze in wonderment at the nightly selections of the great moose! We’re not kidding, literally, ever night, moose will create some of the most amazing cigar and craft beer pairings known to man… Most would be so lucky to obtain just the cigar OR beer—but alas, moose77 combines these rarities as if it were his job. Hey, someone’s gotta do it!
Of course, moose doesn’t keep it all to himself, it’s his generosity that brings him up to the prestigious HOF status.

Chris Flood
While he may be the newest member on the list, there’s no denying Chris’ status as a HOF member. Chris likes to keep things light and has become known as the “class clown” of the Dojo, creating hilariously photoshopped pics on a daily basis—usually including fellow Dojo members and the current pop culture buzz.
Where Chris really gets going is the Dojo weekly contests, creating one classic entry after the next (literally, too many to count)! And while he’s won his fair share of prizes, Chris doesn’t do it for the fame, it’s about having a good time, as well as bringing in new members through his equally-entertaining social media presence.

Donald S.
Speaking of class clowns… Donald S. is the Ren to Chris’ Stimpy, the Beavis to his Butt-head, the Laverne to his Shirley… okay, this is getting weird. On the same par with Chris Flood in the ring of Dojo photoshop-debauchery, Donald has been known to throw the Dojo crew into laugh-attacks lasting much longer than they probably should. We even considered adding a new HOF category for “Post of the Year” due to a ridiculous contest entry involving Bob Ross (that’s all we’ll say…).
Donald gets involved with the community as well, being a member of the Seasoned Samurai, as well as making long treks to join Dojo HERFs—such as the 2015 DOJO BASH in New Orleans and the Cigar Dojo Cigar Safari in Estelí, Nicaragua.

ajanes
Ajanes is the nicest guy you’ll ever meet. Just don’t be surprised if you walk right by him unknowingly. You’ll be hard-pressed to ever see a picture of Mr. Janes, and considering his gentle demeanor, you certainly won’t expect him to be the size of a UFC fighter! Don’t say we didn’t warn you…
Ajanes now holds the record for highest post count at admittance from a HOF member (possibly any member, period!). This God-fearing man is quick to offer up prayers for any Dojo member in need, and is one of the most helpful, positive members on the Dojo app.

c10cko
After 3+ years of Dojo madness, it’s a rare sight to see an inductee from those days of yore. On top of that, it’s an even more rare sight to induct a member from across the pond (a first for Cigar Dojo, actually), but alas, c10cko has earned every bit of HOF glory!
In case you’re new to the game, it’s pronounced “clock-oh”, and yes, the dude is into luxury timepieces. But more than that, Craig (shh, don’t tell him we revealed his name) is into Cigar Dojo! In fact, he’s largely responsible for the rise in Dojo members in the England area. To top it all off, Craig’s made the trip to the US on 2 (soon to be 3) occasions to attend Cigar Dojo parties—on his wedding anniversaries, no less (Craig’s wife Ross deserves some serious recognition as well).

ArmyRN
Speaking of “firsts”, we’d like to welcome the first-ever female into the Dojo Hall of Fame! As her name suggests, Diana is indeed a registered nurse for the US Army (thank you for your service!), she is also an incredibly supportive and consistent Dojo member.
Diana has been known to get in on the cigar contest game, making some of the goofiest posts you’ll find. She’s sort of like the figurative “Dojo mom”, baking us virtual oatmeal cookies and making the Dojo one big, happy family. We also have to note she has some serious dedication, making the trip to Estelí, Nicaragua for the Cigar Dojo Cigar Safari.
- Location: Vineland, NJ
- Cigar Dojo member since: Aug. 15, 2013

bradfromtampa
Bradfromtampa may have the most straight forward moniker you’ll ever find. From the moment you first come in contact with this stand-up Floridian, you already know 2 things: his name is Brad, and he’s from Tampa! Okay, so we’re off to a great start, but you’ll soon realize Brad is an expert in all things punk rock (playing in a fairly successful Tampa-based band), and knows a thing or two about premium, boutique coffee as well. Brad has become a Dojo staple since joining in 2013, racking up one of the highest post-per-day (yes, that’s a legit stat, we love a good “PPD” ratio…) counts of any member, at a whopping 19 PPD!
B-Tamps, as he is colloquially known by the Dojo crew, is a master of the HERF, organizing Dojo meet-ups in the Tampa area, designed to “crash” manufacturers events with an overwhelming Dojo attendance. He has made the venture to New Orleans for the DOJO BASH 2015 and will also be attending the 2015 Cigar Dojo Cigar Safari in Estelí, Nicaragua.

Seasoned Samurai
They’re one of the newest sub-groups on the Dojo, but they’re also among the most consistent! The Seasoned Samurai are made up of “seasoned” (read: old) gentlemen that appreciate the more refined qualities of cigar smoking, or any indulgences in life, rather.
The current member count is approximately 20, with members located across the globe. With arguably the highest count of “overseas” members, you’ll often find these Samurai enjoying the forbidden fruits of some of the finest Cuban cigars in existence. Consequently, the American members benefit from this nice little perk from time to time…
The Seasoned Samurai are among the most respectful and accommodating Dojo groups—if the Dojo were a church (far from it…), they’d be the deacons (that’s a terrible analogy, but we had fun with it).

Cuban-Assassin
Cuban-Assassin is not only popular on Cigar Dojo, this man is a real-life Cigar Celebrity! Operating as the social media rep/purchaser for New Jersey’s Berkeley Humidor, much of Cuban-Assassin’s contributions to Cigar Dojo come behind the scenes – bringing the industry leaders to Cigar Dojo! Cuban-Assassin is a man of fine tastes, Dojo members are often left in awe with the rare selections smoked by Mr.Assassin – often consisting of a Fuente Fuente OpusX variety.
- Location: New Jersey
- Cigar Dojo member since: Jan. 2nd, 2013
- Post count at HOF admittance: 2,962
Juan Cancel
I like to think of Juan as the “secret underground ruler” of the cigar world! This man knows his cigars, and his opinion is valued – Juan Cancel could probably have a Fuente or Padrón cigar made in his name and they’d sell like hot cakes! He is also the organizer of the Port Authority Police Hispanic Society Cigar Night Out Charity Fundraiser (Cuban-Assassin might be the only one who can say that from memory), an event that features the biggest names in the industry. Juan is one of the first members on Cigar Dojo, and like Cuban-Assassin, has been a key component in bringing Cigar Dojo to the big players in the cigar world – which eventually translates to: better features for the Cigar Dojo app!

Simon
I think all will agree that ever since his debut onto the Cigar Dojo community, Simon has been the epitome of a BOTL. Simon is quick to welcome new members with a friendly greeting and is sure to comment on darn-near every post! While he has only been a member for 1 year (to the day, coincidentally), the Dojo staff could hardly imagine Cigar Dojo without him. He is also somewhat of a pairings expert, and Dojo members often check to see what craft beer, whiskey, and boutique cigar pairings he’s come up with.

George23
George is one of the longest-standing members currently on Cigar Dojo, not only that, but he also has the best facial hair we’ve ever seen! George portrays a friendly, laid back atmosphere and easily “jells” with any group in the community. In 2013, he met up with the Cigar Dojo staff in Las Vegas for the Cigar Dojo Vegas Bash and we can now officially confirm: George23 is the real deal.
- Location: Georgia
- Cigar Dojo member since: Jan. 14th, 2013

Jaelipp
Do we even need to say anything?! Jaelipp has been a household name for Cigar Dojo members since the very beginning. Whether he’s entertaining with a hilariously photoshopped cigar entry, or a blunt commentary on smoking in the bathroom, Jaelipp is the life of the party! But there’s a softer side to Mr. Jae as well, often organizing group efforts to send relief to those in need, such as bringing cigars to the troops. Jaelipp was an early proponent for the “cigar bomb” and even helped write the Cigar Dojo guidelines for the “cigar bomb” and “PIF”.

Misfits
The Misfits are such an impactful sub-group on Cigar Dojo, we decided to add a category to the Hall of Fame awards: Cigar Dojo Group of the Year. Unlike most sub-groups, these guys know no bounds, i.e. they’re from all over the world (they are also somewhat unpredictable…)! In the fall of 2014, the Misfits organized one of the largest collection of Dojo members to date – specifically, in one house. Yes, the Misfits set out to rent a mansion in Las Vegas and let the inevitable madness ensue. Misfit members flew in from as far as Hawaii and Australia to attend the meet up, and God only knows how they made it out alive! These guys may be a bit off-the-cuff and unpredictable, but Dojo members know them to also be very helpful and agreeable, as well as entertaining…

Gene
The first member inducted into the Cigar Dojo Hall of Fame, Gene is a team player that you’ll never catch any negativity from. He is especially fond of craft beer and rare cigars, Gene is also a master in the realm of martial arts. After hangin’ with Gene, don’t be surprised if you find a few bottles of Pliny the Elder or other rarities waiting at your door…

Meatfinger
Meatfinger is known to be on the Dojo late into the night, keeping the torch burning when others won’t. With arguably the most attractive hold on a cigar you’ll ever find, users stay up late to see what Meat is smoking – it’s always a learning experience to smoke with MeatFinger.

Deford
If ever there was a guy you want on your team, it’s Deford. Calm, cool, and collect – Deford is never too far out of reach, ready to answer your many questions on cigars, whiskey, and just about anything else! His photos can make any cigar look appetizing – it’s the careful thought and effort behind every post that makes Deford such a valued member of the Dojo.

Maxxrocket
Maxx has been on the Dojo longer than nearly any current user – he’s an original and there’s a reason people follow his posts. Besides being a great friend and a truly solid BOTL, Maxx also knows how to cook! His long smoking sessions (both cigars and meat) have inspired spontaneous BBQ parties across the Dojo time and time again. He is such a famous Dojo member that he even has his own cigar term named after him – no longer does one simply “nub” a cigar, they Maxx it!

CubanPete
This man is a true inspiration – just about every member in the Cigar Dojo community can provide their own “CubanPete tale”, one in which he changed the way they smoked. You see, this is a man that truly appreciates the art of a fine cigar – if you’re looking to take your cigar smoking skills to the next level, simply look towards Pete and he’ll show you the way.
