La Aurora has added to the brand’s Time Capsule lineup, introducing the La Aurora 1985 Maduro.
La Aurora’s Time Capsule collection first debuted in 2016 with the 1987 Connecticut and 1961 Corojo; these cigars were later joined by the 1903 Cameroon. Each cigar in the series aims to pay tribute to La Aurora’s heritage, highlighting the specific years that each tobacco was first used by the Dominican Republic’s oldest cigar factory.
As the title denotes, the fourth installment makes use of a maduro wrapper—Brazilian—which was first incorporated in 1985. This dark leaf is joined by Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos throughout the binder/filler—available now in four sizes, with prices ranging from $5.75 to $6.50 SRP. La Aurora 1985 Maduro is now shipping to retailers nationwide.
