La Aurora S.A., claiming the title of the Dominican Republic’s oldest cigar factory, has launched two new cigars in honor of their 113th anniversary. The cigars utilize different blends and are made to honor the years in which La Aurora introduced two different wrapper varietals to their lineup – La Aurora 1961 Corojo will showcase a Dominican Corojo wrapper (grown in the Dominican Cibao Valley), wheras the La Aurora 1987 Connecticut utilizes a Connecticut shade-grown wrapper.

Both cigars are now available to consumers, with MSRP’s starting at $5.50.
