Joya de Nicaragua has announced the fourth cigar in the company’s modernized “Joya” series, introducing Joya Silver.
Joya Silver is said to be the “edgiest” design in the Joya de Nicaragua (JDN) portfolio, offering a bright and contemporary look and medium-plus body. The cigars themselves are box-pressed and feature a dark, Ecuador-grown oscuro wrapper, Mexican binder, and all-Nicaraguan fillers. This combination produces a profile described by JDN as “dynamic complexity of fresh spice, chocolate and cherry notes.”
JDN is debuting Joya Silver at IPCPR 2018 in four sizes with prices ranging from $6.30 to $7.80 SRP.
The Joya series originally launched in 2014 with Joya Red, featuring a bright flavor profile, medium body, and modernized look to appeal to the next generation of cigar smokers. The cigars were expanded in 2016, introducing Joya Black and Joya Cabinetta to the collection. Joya Silver is released during the company’s 50th anniversary year celebration, joining 2018 releases such as the TAA Exclusive Antaño Gran Reserva Presidente and the return of Joya de Nicaragua Clásico.
