Joya de Nicaragua will be expanding on the successful Joya Red cigar at this year’s IPCPR show in Las Vegas. The new cigar is Joya Black, continuing the modern look/feel from Joya Red, but with a darker, more complex experience. With this announcement, Joya de Nicaragua also introduces JOYA as a sub-brand, with the intention for more modernized experiences down the road.
Both Joya Red and Joya Black were engineered by the youngest executive team in the industry, along with the most senior Master Blenders of Nicaragua. Together they created JOYA, a line-up of cigars that represents the more approachable and adventurous side of Nicaragua’s very first, and most authentic, cigar factory.
Joya de Nicaragua is notorious as the oldest cigar factory in Nicaragua, utilizing Nicaraguan Habano puros for the majority of their lineup. Joya Black marks their first use of Mexican San Andrés wrapper.
