Alec Bradley is expanding its Chunk series this fall, adding the new Chunk Sumatra as the third regular-production blend in the lineup.
The Chunk format originally appeared as a frontmark offered across various Alec Bradley lines, focusing on short cigars with increasingly large ring gauges. The concept has since developed into its own series, beginning with dedicated Maduro and Shade blends. Chunk Sumatra now joins those cigars as a full-time offering.
The new cigar uses an Ecuadorian Shade wrapper over a USA Broadleaf binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Honduras. The cigars are produced in Honduras. The company describes the blend as medium-bodied, with notes of dried fruit, spice, and cedar.

Chunk Sumatra will be offered in three sizes, all measuring four inches long. The XL measures 4″ x 60 and is priced at $6.49, the 3XL measures 4″ x 66 at $8.49, and the largest 4XL comes in at 4″ x 80 with an MSRP of $9.49.
The XL and 3XL will ship in boxes of 20, while the 4XL will come in 18-count boxes. Alec Bradley expects the cigars to begin shipping to retailers in October 2026.
