Tinder Box International is reopening its franchise program, marking the first time in more than a decade that the company has offered new franchise opportunities.
Based in Haverford, Pennsylvania, Tinder Box has been part of the premium cigar retail landscape for over 100 years, with the company remaining family-owned for the past 50 years. The move signals a shift toward expanding the brand’s footprint through new retail partners.
The company says the program is aimed at entrepreneurs interested in entering the premium cigar space with an established name and operating structure already in place.
“Tinder Box has always been more than a retail experience — it’s a destination, a community, and a pursuit of passion,” said Rob Blumenthal. “We are looking for franchise partners who share that passion and are ready to build something extraordinary with a proven business model, a century of brand equity behind them, and a family committed to their success.”
According to the announcement, the updated franchise model includes access to the company’s vendor relationships, product selection guidance, and operational support, along with use of the Tinder Box brand.
