Artesano Del Tobacco is expanding its Viva La Vida Connecticut lineup with a new vitola, set to debut at the 2026 PCA Trade Show in New Orleans.
The new size is a 7 x 54 Churchill, which the company says was developed following feedback from customers. It will be showcased at the companyโs booth during the trade show.
The release builds on the momentum of the Viva La Vida Connecticut, which landed at No. 20 on Cigar Dojoโs 2025 Cigar of the Year list.
The cigar is produced in Nicaragua at AJ Fernandezโs factory and uses the same blend as the core Viva La Vida Connecticut line, featuring Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos wrapped in an Ecuadorian Connecticut leaf.
โWe are excited to announce that based on our clients recommendation we created with our friend AJ Fernandez in Estali Nicaragua this new Vitola, its creamy, smooth, sweet and well balanced, this Connecticut blend worked perfect with this size and we are extremely grateful for your feedback and recommendations,โ said Billy, Gus, & Bass of Artesano Del Tobacco.
According to the company, the Churchill size was selected after a survey conducted with its CLUB500 members, where it finished as the top choice among respondents.
The cigars will be packaged in 10-count boxes, with an MSRP of $16 per cigar.
