For the fifth time in Crowned Heads’ history, the Nashville-based company is set to launch a limited-edition Mule Kick cigar under the Four Kicks banner.
The Mule Kick was first introduced in 2012 as a stronger version of the company’s core-line Four Kicks brand, which is rolled in the Dominican Republic at Ernesto Perez-Carrillo’s Tabacalera La Alianza factory. The blend made its long-awaited return in 2017, and has since been followed each consecutive year with alternative wrapper selections (Connecticut Habano Maduro for 2018 and Ecuador Sumatra for 2019). The Four Kicks Mule Kick LE 2020 boasts a Nicaraguan Jalapa wrapper that is best known for EPC Cigars’ acclaimed Perez-Carrillo Encore line (though it has also surrounded Crowned Heads’ Paniolo Especiale 2017).
The 2020 release is priced at $11.25 per cigar MSRP, with 2,500 boxes of 10 being rolled. The cigars are expected to begin shipping in July of 2020.
