Tyler Jeffery picked National Nut Day for his newest Viso Horny release, and if you know the brand, the name won’t surprise you. The Austin-based blender announced Post Nut Clarity today, a 4 1/2 x 56 box-pressed cigar made at Fábrica de Tabacos Nica Sueño S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua.
The idea comes from the brand’s tagline, “100% viso. 50% horny.” Every leaf in the cigar is a viso priming, the leaves from the middle of the tobacco plant that sit between ligero and seco. Jeffery’s pitch is that viso carries some of ligero’s strength and some of seco’s burn. The long filler is all viso, under an African Cameroon viso binder and a U.S. Broadleaf viso wrapper.
Jeffery blended the cigar at Nica Sueño with Skip Martin, co-founder of RoMa Craft Tobac and Nica Sueño. It’s the same team behind the earlier Viso Horny Uncle Luke release, and the company frames Post Nut Clarity as the follow-up: where Uncle Luke was the buildup, this one is meant for the calm after.
“Tyler came to us with a cigar named after the most honest five minutes of a man’s day,” said Skip Martin. “Somehow, after building it all out of viso, it actually tastes like clarity.”
Production is set at 750 bundles of 10, or 7,500 cigars in total. Each cigar carries an MSRP of $15, or $150 per bundle. Retailers can order starting today through visohorny@gmail.com, and shipping is expected in November. Participating shops will be listed on the brand’s Instagram, @visohorny.
Post Nut Clarity joins a growing Viso Horny catalog. Jeffery’s first release, Uncle Luke 452, was a 4 x 52 all-viso cigar from Nica Sueño that sold direct to consumers for $10 in 2023. The Viso Horny 555 followed as his first retail release at the 2025 PCA show, and this year brought Ligador Fantasma, made at Fábrica Oveja Negra. He also teamed with Mo Maali on Patina y Viso Verdigris, which shipped in July 2025 as 300 bundles of 10, and on the ReVerdigris follow-up that’s shipping now.
Before moving to Austin, Jeffery worked behind the counter in Wisconsin at Havana Lounge and Cigar in West Allis and Lake Country Cigars in Delafield. According to the release, he has made more than a dozen trips to Estelí and is now a partner and incoming majority owner at Pipe World, which has locations in Round Rock and Austin.
