Patina Cigars and Viso Horny are going back for round two, announcing the return of their Verdigris collaboration under the slightly modified name ReVerdigris.

The project once again brings together Patina Cigars founder Mo Maali and Viso Horny founder Tyler Jeffery, with the pair leaning into Hollywood’s current sequel obsession for the release. In fact, the bundle artwork describes ReVerdigris as “The Sequel Nobody Asked For.”

ReVerdigris brings back the same blend and size as the original release, measuring 5″ x 52 in a robusto format. The cigar features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over an Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed binder and Nicaraguan fillers. As with the original, the cigars are produced at Nicaragua American Cigars S.A. (NACSA).

The packaging also returns to the Midwest theme of the first release, featuring Milwaukee and Chicago skylines as a nod to Maali and Jeffery’s roots. For ReVerdigris, the artwork has been altered with a spray-painted “RE” over the original Verdigris name, along with a biplane pulling a “The Sequel Nobody Asked For” banner.

“Nobody sent us a petition,” said Jeffery. “But apparently 2026 is the year everybody goes back for round two. Mann’s going back to Heat, Sorkin’s going back to Facebook, we’re going back to Verdigris. Eventually you have to just make the thing.”

Maali offered a simpler explanation for bringing the cigar back.

“It’s a good blend. We wanted to smoke it again. The label just says the quiet part out loud.”

Production of Patina y Viso ReVerdigris is limited to 200 bundles of 10 cigars, totaling 2,000 cigars. The release will begin shipping later in October and continue into early November, heading to the same small group of retailers that received the original Verdigris.

Pricing has not yet been announced and is expected to be finalized before the cigars begin shipping.
