Casa Carrillo has brought back its Dark Rituals line for 2026, though the returning name now comes with an entirely new blend.
The new Dark Rituals centers on a Pennsylvania Broadleaf Maduro wrapper over a Connecticut binder and Dominican fillers. The cigars are described as medium-bodied and are box-pressed, with production taking place at the Casa Carrillo factory in the Dominican Republic.
Rather than recreating an earlier version of Dark Rituals, Casa Carrillo developed a new blend for the 2026 release, with Pennsylvania Broadleaf serving as the primary focus.
“Dark Rituals gave us the opportunity to work with Pennsylvania Broadleaf in a way that really lets its character come through,” said Ernesto Perez-Carrillo. “It brings depth and intensity to the blend, but what was most important to me was maintaining balance and smoothness from beginning to end.”
Dark Rituals is offered in three sizes, each carrying a name tied to the line’s theme:
- Relic: 5″ x 50
- Incantation: 6″ x 52
- Occult: 6¼” x 58
