The Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Concerto debuted in the spring of 2025 as the third release in the Quattro Nicaragua series, continuing the brand’s long-running connection to classical music themes under the direction of Rafael Nodal. Following the original Quattro Nicaragua and the Sonata extension, the Concerto (pronounced kuhn-CHAIR-toh) is positioned as a unique composition rather than a variation on an existing blend, once again crafted in collaboration with A.J. Fernández in Nicaragua. The cigar is a Nicaraguan puro built around a hybrid Criollo ’98 wrapper grown at Fernández’s Finca La Lilia farm, supported by binder and filler tobaccos that include nearly 12-year-aged leaves from the first harvest of Finca Los Espejos. Rolled in a wide range of soft-pressed sizes, the blend lands in the medium-to-full-bodied range. The profile opens with mineral-rich earth and espresso, followed by zesty baking spice, cocoa, and touches of brown sugar. As it settles in, the thicker, well-aged tobaccos lend a rounded texture and depth, allowing the flavors to develop steadily without feeling heavy or overworked.
