CAO is rolling into the holiday season with two limited sampler releases, giving fans a choice between revisiting the brand’s muscle-car-inspired Flathead line and exploring a mix of globally-themed blends.
Flathead Sampler Returns with Six Vitolas — Including a New Size
The Flathead Sampler Box includes all six vitolas from the line, highlighted by the debut of the Flathead Resonator (8″ x 60). The collection also features the well-known V660 Carb and other formats ranging from 4.5″ x 50 to 7″ x 70.
Each cigar is rolled in Nicaragua using a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Connecticut Habano binder, and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The oversized packaging leans into the auto-garage theme the line is known for.
“Flathead is most popular in the larger 6×60 and 7×70 sizes, but many people forget about the other great sizes in the Flathead lineup,” said Cory Beardsley, Brand Manager for CAO. “This Flathead sampler allows the CAO super-fan to compare the same high-octane blend in all six available sizes.”
The sampler began shipping in October and has an MSRP of $69.99.
Outpost Sampler Vol. 2 Offers Global Blend Experience
Also arriving at retailers is Outpost Sampler Vol. 2, a five-cigar set curated around CAO’s international blend portfolio. The mix includes:
- FASA Noche
- Italia
- Fuma Em Corda
- Brazilia
- Zócalo
Most notably, Fuma Em Corda — a blend related to the Amazon Basin and made with Brazilian Bragança tobacco — makes a rare return in this release.
“With the second edition of the Outpost Sampler, we wanted to give fans a passport to CAO’s most unique tobacco experiences,” Beardsley said. “Each cigar in the collection represents a different stop on our journey to explore bold smoking experiences and unexpected origins.”
The Outpost sample also shipped in October and carries an MSRP of $49.99.
