CAO has announced the 2025 re-release of its Amazon Basin cigar, crafted with rare tobacco sourced from the Amazon Rainforest. Originally launched in 2014, the cigar features the unique “Bragança” tobacco, grown on unspoiled tropical land and fermented through a meticulous process that includes transportation by canoe from the rainforest.
The Amazon Basin blend combines an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and a filler mix of Brazilian, Dominican, and Colombian tobaccos. Described as medium-bodied with earthy, nutty, and caramel notes, the cigars will be available in rustic 18-count boxes at an SRP of $14.49 per cigar.
Retail shipments are set to begin in January 2025.
