CLE Cigar Co. and subsidiary brand Asylum Cigars have announced the Asylum 12 2024 cigar as the latest release in the annual Asylum Anniversary Series, which will debut later this week at the PCA trade show in Las Vegas.

Asylum first introduced the Anniversary concept in 2019 with the Asylum Seven, since being followed up with new additions each year following. This leads to the Asylum 12 for 2024, offering a different blend from past releases, including tobaccos from CLE’s new farm in South America. The remainder of the blend is undisclosed.

Tom Lazuka Co-Founder of Asylum Cigars stated: “We felt that we could better improve on the presentation of the Asylum 12. The Asylum 12 2024 will be housed in cigar tubes. Cigar tubes provide an upgrade aesthetically, while also better protecting the cigars.”

Christian Eiroa founder and President of C.L.E. Cigar Company stated:” I have always considered the Asylum brand as an almost experimental project in where I can play with all kinds of off-the-wall blends, vitola sizes, and unique packaging. I strongly believe that we have hit the mark with the Asylum 12 2024.”

The Asylum 12 changes up the packaging from the former coffin style of past releases as well, now being sold in 20-count boxes of individually concealed tubos. The cigars have been rolled in 7″ x 70 and 11/18 formats, priced at $26.60 and $21.60 MSRP, respectively. CLE expects the line to ship in the May/June timeframe.
