Leading up to the annual PCA trade show later this week, XIKAR has announced the new Flip Dual Cutter, which is a two-sided cigar accessory capable of handling both V-cuts and straight cuts.
The XIKAR Flip Dual Cutter is said to be designed after the brand’s VX2 V-cutter, and is capable of cutting cigars up to 64 in ring gauge. The design features a straight guillotine-style blade on one side and a V-blade on the other.
Sized at 1.79” wide, 0.66” deep, and 3.07” in length, the cutter is built from an aluminum body. The cutter is designed for single-handed use, with the blades opening by squeezing both sides of the cutter with a thumb and index finger. It is then closed by pressing on the spring-loaded top. Additionally, the top of the cutter doubles as a cigar rest, featuring a curved shape where cigars can rest when the cutter is placed upright.
