This year’s edition of Colorado’s largest cigar event—Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival—marked the event’s milestone 10th anniversary.
Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival (RMCF) has steadily grown since it’s inauguration, and in its 10th year, it continued apace, setting records such as the event’s fastest sell-out (89 days), most vendors (133), and most cigars included with entry (48 (GA), 86 (VIP), and 126
(Executive VIP)). For the sixth year running, RMCF was held at the the Omni Interlocken Hotel—a resort-like atmosphere complete with a 27-hole championship golf course, pool-side bar, and other amenities.
While the official event was held on Saturday, Aug. 24th, the festivities have long-since expanded, with a large number of attending manufacturers hosting individual brick-and-mortar events throughout Colorado for the three days leading up to Saturday’s mega event. And for the second year running, we at Cigar Dojo hosted our own small gathering at Cigar Dojo Studios, featuring a live recording of Smoke Night LIVE’s Cavalcade of Stars. In addition, Cigar Dojo hosted a second event this year at the nearby Aloft Hotels.
As with past events, manufacturers such as LFD, AJ Fernandez, and Alec Bradley (among others) have been known to showcase cigars tailored exclusively for the RMCF. Drew Estate formally launched the 2019 edition of the Undercrown DOGMA, featuring updated packaging for 2019. And, in a similar fashion to last year’s exclusive Feng Shui collaboration, Cigar Dojo kicked off yet another limited-edition collaboration at the event—partnering with Aganorsa Leaf on a special project known as Bonsai.
