The Undercrown Dojo Dogma is slated to return once more, with the 2019 iteration of the cult-favorite blend marking the third official release since the cigar’s initial debut in 2014.

After a four-year absence of fresh Dogma on the market—with the cigars only appearing at Dojo Cigar Safaris, or handed out by Jonathan Drew on occasion—the Undercrown Dogma made its highly anticipated return at last year’s IPCPR 2018 trade show. Dogma was quick to sell out, being offered only to Drew Estate’s Drew Diplomat retailers across the country (and eventually shipping in late August).

With the 2019 IPCPR trade show fast approaching, Drew Estate and Cigar Dojo have announced the details of the cigar’s 2019 run. While the cigars have been rolled in the original 6″ x 56 format (soft box-pressed), featuring the same amped-up blend makeup, the 2019 edition differentiates itself with updated packaging and retail displays. The cigars remain bundled in craft paper packages of 10, however, the 2019 edition showcases a new deep blue color for the first time.

It was definitely cool to bring back the Dojo Dogma last year at IPCPR. I received a bunch of texts and dm’s from all sorts of dudes that I’ve met throughout the years, all really amped up to see it back. We screwed up though last year because the soft packs did not have a sales tray so the marketing guys fixed it real nice, plus yo… the blue pack is super dope.Drew Estate President and Founder, Jonathan Drew

Undercrown Dojo Dogma showcases a tweaked blend based on Drew Estate’s Undercrown Maduro line, including a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, Connecticut Stalk-Cut Habano binder, and fillers from Nicaragua and Brazil. But the blend—like the 2014 original—is then amped up for a stronger smoking experience and finished with a soft box-press, giving the Dogma its signature balance of strength and complexity.

To this day the DOGMA has been our most popular collaborative cigar release and for good reason. It has just the right size and shape combined with a killer blend that keeps folks coming back for more.Eric Guttormson, owner of Cigar Dojo

Undercrown Dojo Dogma will make its first appearance at Drew Estate’s IPCPR 2019 booth, where the cigars will be offered to authorized Drew Diplomat retailers. The cigars are priced at $107.97 per 10-count bundle and will first be sold in late Aug. at the 2019 Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival, held in Cigar Dojo’s home region of Broomfield, Colorado. Dogma will then ship nationwide in September.
