Fratello Cigars is prepared to introduce their largest cigar to date—The Texan—a 7⅛” x 58 that will be offered exclusively to retailers throughout Texas.
The Texan follows in the footsteps of Fratello DMV, which was introduced in November as an exclusive for the D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and Delaware markets.
Accompanying the cigar’s massive size is a diverse blend, including the use of an HVA Ecuador wrapper, Sumatran binder, and fillers of the DR (Piloto Cubano Ligero and Andullo), Nicaragua (Estelí ligero), and USA (Pennsylvania ligero). While the majority of Fratello’s cigars are produced at the Joya de Nicaragua factory in Estelí, The Texan is being manufactured in the DR at La Aurora S.A.
Fratello adds that they will “donate a portion of the proceeds to the Texas Cigar Merchant Association.” The cigars are slated for a November 2019 release, with additional state exclusives coming in the future, “each being different and tailored to each state.”
