Adding to Aganorsa Leaf’s most critically acclaimed brand—Guardian of the Farm—the company has now partnered with Casa de Montecristo to introduce the largest format in the lineup: Guardian of the Farm Buster.
Guardian of the Farm originally debuted in 2016 as a collaborative effort between Aganorsa Leaf and Warped Cigars. The cigar’s name draws inspiration from the dogs that patrol the Fernández family’s Aganorsa farms throughout Nicaragua. As such, each size is named for one of the animals: Apollo, JJ, Campeon, and the 2017 addition of Rambo.
Aganorsa Leaf is now set to debut the Buster as the largest format in the collection, being inspired from the family guard dog of company owner, Eduardo Fernández. The cigar is sized at 6″ x 60, becoming the largest format in the collection (formerly being a 6″ x 52 toro); this ties into the cigar’s limited distribution to the Houston market.
Buster is priced at $10.50 and will only be sold at Casa de Montecristo retail stores throughout Houston. As such, the cigars bear a “713 Exclusive” designation, marking the Houston area code. Only 200 boxes have been produced for the limited release—set to launch in mid-May.
