The second cigar in Southern Draw’s IGNITE project has been announced as the Rose of Sharon Perfecto.
Rolled in a 6″ x 56 Salomon vitola, Rose of Sharon Perfecto marks the first non-box-pressed iteration of the Rose of Sharon (ROS) blend. The cigars are being released exclusively through Famous Smoke Shop and are part of Southern Draw’s recently announced IGNITE series, where the company will partner with a total of five retailers for exclusive releases throughout 2018.
This announcement comes three weeks after Southern Draw first revealed the IGNITE project, which was followed shortly afterwards by the Jacobs Ladder Lancero—the first IGNITE release. Southern Draw will partner with new retailers for each IGNITE release, where they will collaborate to donate $7.50 from every jar (including 10 cigars) sold to the charity of the retailer’s choosing.
Rose of Sharon Perfecto will donate to the Operation Cigars for Warriors charity, with each jar containing “an informational brochure about the charity, a coupon for a future order from Famous [Smoke Shop] and a 2-way humidity packet supplied by Boveda, Inc. who is also a sponsor of the IGNITE project.”
The cigars are limited to 500 jars of 10 cigars (250 white jars and 250 black jars) and will be available both online and in a special in-store event at Famous’ Leaf Cigar Bar in Easton, PA on May 12th. Pricing is set at $99.99 per jar ($9.99 per cigar).
Rose of Sharon Perfecto is the second line extension to the ROS brand, joining the Rose of Sharon Lancero release from January of this year—also released exclusively through Famous Smoke Shop (at least for the cigar’s initial run).
The third IGNITE release has yet to receive a launch date but will reportedly be in partnership with Cigars International.
