And that’s exactly what Atlantic Cigars is celebrating by releasing this limited edition E.P. Carrillo Toro. Wrapped in Brazilian Habano Maduro this is truly one of the most gorgeous E.P. Carillos you will ever lay eyes on. I love the black and platinum embossed label so much that I wish all EP’s had this style of label because it just screams class.
The draw on this cigar is perfect and it has the most mouth watering chocolaty smell I just have to cut and light this up. The first few drags of this cigar offered a real ZING which had me thinking maybe I should have waited until after dinner for this cigar because it might be a powerful one. However, the nicotine zing quickly mellows out and now we are grabbing some of the true flavors of this stellar cigar. Hazelnut with a warm earthy leather is the predominant flavor the E.P. Carrillo Atlantic 15th Anniversary Toro will produce from start to finish.
The cigar generates a nice amount of satisfying smoke and the burn and ash are second to none. There are some subtle spices that begin to come out as you work your way through the cigar and there is always a nice chocolaty sweetness on the finish. Some cigars often get a tar like flavor as you approach the nub but not this one, it’s the same solid flavors from start to finish.
Would I Smoke This Cigar Again?
The E.P. Carrillo Atlantic 15th Anniversary Toro is a very rare and limited offering created for Atlantic Cigars yet it’s still under $10 per stick so I can’t argue with the value at all. And with it’s rock solid performance and delicious flavors I would most certainly want some of these in my humidor for special occasions.
