Altadis U.S.A. is setting up a pop-up cigar lounge at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, working with Empire Social Lounge. According to a press release issued today, the lounge will be open Wednesday, October 28 through Sunday, November 1.
The release says the lounge will offer an exclusive selection of premium cigars, with a showcase of Montecristo and Trinidad Tommy Bahama cigars. It does not say which Montecristo lines or Trinidad Tommy Bahama sizes will be there, and it doesn’t say whether any cigars will be sold at the lounge.
The lounge will be in the Superyacht Village at Pier Sixty-Six Hotel & Marina’s Pier South property, next to the southeast corner of the 17th Street Causeway bridge. The release says Superyacht Village is open to general admission Boat Show ticket holders, with access by water tenders and shuttle bus routes that connect the show’s locations. No lounge hours were provided.
The show covers nearly 90 acres and three million square feet of exhibit space over five days. The Boat Show reports more than 100,000 attendees at its 2025 edition.
Dojo has followed both brands this year. Altadis introduced the Trinidad x Tommy Bahama Island Collection, a set of Nicaraguan puros blended by Rafael Nodal and AJ Fernandez, in July 2025. On the Montecristo side, recent news includes the Espada Conquistador and the 1935 Anniversary Doble Diamante Red. Empire Social Lounge’s Las Olas location in Fort Lauderdale was announced in 2022.
