Quality Importers Trading Company is moving on to the next animal on the Chinese zodiac. The accessory maker will show a four-piece Year of the Goat collection at the TAA Show in the Dominican Republic, running October 25-29.
Like last year’s Year of the Horse collection, the set pulls from several of the company’s brands, with each piece wearing red and gold goat artwork.
The biggest piece is a Humidor Supreme Traveler 20 desktop humidor. It holds 20 to 30 cigars, has a Spanish cedar lining and comes with a humidifier, measuring 10⅝” wide, 8¾” deep and 3³⁄₁₆” tall. For travel, there’s a five-count Cigar Caddy case that’s crushproof, waterproof and airtight, with a fluted foam interior, humidifier and lanyard with clip.
The lighter is a Palió PRO Antares, an all-metal double-jet with angled flames, a side-squeeze trigger, a fuel window and an oversized flame adjuster. The set is rounded out by a XIKAR Xi1 cutter with an aluminum body and two stainless steel blades, rated for cigars up to a 64 ring gauge. That’s a change from the Horse collection, which used the Xi2.
The Year of the Goat collection is scheduled to ship in December.
