After a four-year gap between releases, Emperors Cut Cigars is preparing to launch Hellfighter, the newest addition to the companyโ€™s Red Tails Series.

The cigar is a box-pressed 6 x 52 torpedo created in collaboration with master blender Manuel Inoa and produced at the La Aurora factory in the Dominican Republic.

Hellfighter takes its name from the Harlem Hellfighters, the nickname given to the 369th Infantry Regiment, an African American military unit recognized for its service during World War I. According to the company, the release continues the historical themes tied to the Red Tails Series.

โ€œThis release is more than introducing another cigar into the marketโ€”it reflects the direction and intentionality of our brand,โ€ said Darnell Streat, Managing Partner of Emperors Cut Cigars.

The cigar is scheduled to launch on May 25 through the companyโ€™s website before expanding to select retail partners and lounges in June. Pricing is set at $75 for a five-pack, not including shipping.
