Psychedelic Series Evolves with New “Psychedelic Rabbit” Release

Cigar Dojo and Espinosa Premium Cigars are back for another mind-altering collaboration, unveiling Psychedelic Rabbit—the third release in the duo’s wildly colorful Psychedelic series.

The journey first began in 2019 with Psychedelic Turtle, followed by the darker and funkier Psychedelic Turtle II in 2021. Now, for the first time, the series breaks free from its shell and races into uncharted territory with Psychedelic Rabbit.

While the turtle may have favored a slow and steady approach, the Rabbit is all about energy, intensity, and movement. The cigar builds on the psychedelic foundation of prior releases while delivering a brighter, more vibrant smoking experience that feels quicker on its feet yet equally punchy across the palate.

“After revisiting the Turtle concept in 2021, we knew the next chapter needed to evolve in a completely different direction,” said Eric Guttormson, owner of Cigar Dojo. “The Rabbit keeps the same psychedelic spirit alive, but the experience feels more electric this time around. It’s vibrant, spicy, sweet, and just plain fun.”

Crafted at AJ Fernández’s San Lotano factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua, Psychedelic Rabbit features a Mexican San Andrés claro wrapper over a Jalapa binder and fillers from Condega, Ometepe, and Jalapa. The blend delivers a medium-plus profile layered with citrus zest, baking spice, sweet earth, and a lively pepper character through the retrohale.

As with prior entries in the series, presentation plays a central role in the experience. Psychedelic Rabbit will once again be offered in colorful 10-count bundles inspired by vintage psychedelic artwork and loud counterculture aesthetics. For this release, however, the series moves beyond the signature “Turtle Press” format of previous installments, instead opting for a traditional 6” x 54 toro that allows the blend’s brighter and more energetic profile to fully open up.

“When the Dojo guys call, you know it’s never going to be boring,” commented Erik Espinosa, owner of Espinosa Premium Cigars. “With Psychedelic Rabbit, we wanted to keep the funky vibe people loved from the first two releases while creating a cigar that feels fresh and alive. This thing is loaded with flavor and personality.”

Psychedelic Rabbit will be sold exclusively through JR Cigar, with the release scheduled for Friday, June 5th, 2026 at 12pm Eastern Time. Pricing is set at $99.99 per 10-count bundle, limited to 3,000 cigars (300 bundles) in total.
