Casa Carrillo is adding a new regular-production cigar to its Perez-Carrillo Series, with the company set to debut Ascend at the 2026 PCA Convention & International Trade Show in New Orleans.

Made at the Casa Carrillo Cigar Factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic, Ascend uses an Ecuador Habano wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder from Estelรญ and Nicaraguan fillers. According to the company, the blend was designed to develop in stages, with each vitola intended to offer a different expression of the cigar.

The line will be offered in three sizes: Saddle (5 x 50), Ridge (6 x 52), and Peak (6 1/4 x 58). Suggested retail pricing is set at $12.75, $13.75, and $14.95, respectively.

Casa Carrillo says Ascend was built around the idea of progression, both in format and in how the blend opens up over the course of the smoke. The release joins the Perez-Carrillo Series alongside Pledge, Allegiance, La Historia, and Encore.

โ€œSmokers today have many choices, and we approach that with humility and dedication,โ€ said Ernesto Perez-Carrillo. โ€œOur goal is always to continue refining our craft so that each cigar offers balance, depth, and an experience that develops from beginning to end.โ€

Ascend will be packaged in 20-count boxes. Pre-orders are scheduled to open during PCA 2026, with shipping expected to begin in late May or early June.
