Cavalier Genève Cigars is making a significant shift to its Small Batch program heading into 2026, discontinuing its previous offerings and introducing a new structure built around fewer releases.

According to details shared by the company, the White Series Lancero, White Series Salomones, Black II Lancero, and Black II Salomones have all been retired, effectively ending the original Small Batch lineup.

In their place, Cavalier will move forward with a revised concept that centers on two annual releases: one lancero and one salomon. While the blend has been reworked, the company says its foundation traces back to the White Series, which played a key role in the brand’s early identity.

“Over the last few years, we worked hard to constantly keep those extremely intricate vitolas constantly available, which was, as I believe today a mistake. We ended up completely disregarding the uniqueness and skill level required to achieve this kind of products. We decided it was time to scratch everything and go back to the basics,” said founder Sebastien Decoppet.

“The Small Batch will now be reborn, respectfully, through two restricted productions yearly. There will now only be one Lancero and one Salomon.”

The updated Small Batch releases will feature a Honduran Jamastran wrapper over a Jalapa binder, with fillers from Estelí, Ometepe, Paraguay, and Jalapa. Pricing is set at $13.20 for the lancero and $16.90 for the salomon.

Cavalier is also introducing updated packaging for the line and plans to position the cigars as more focused, limited productions that emphasize craftsmanship.

“We truly want to highlight the skillset of the selected rollers and honor them as well as concentrate on these very special productions, in a way that makes more sense and aligns with our true beliefs. Dedication to the craft, the art of making cigars and delivering something truly sensational should be at the center of each creation. Cigars, from our perspective, should be more like art, each and every one of the creations being beautifully unique.”

The company says a pre-release version of the new Small Batch cigars will be shown at PCA 2026, with pre-orders taken during the event. The first shipments are expected in the second half of 2026.
