Miami Cigar & Co. is bringing back the Nestor Miranda Private Reserve Lancero, with the cigar scheduled to debut at PCA 2026 in New Orleans.

The lancero was first introduced in 2021 as part of a series of blends selected by Nestor Miranda, focusing on a more personal approach to cigar making. The line was built around balance and smoking experience rather than large-scale production.

Now, the company is revisiting that concept with the return of the lancero format, a size often associated with a more concentrated expression of a blend due to its thinner ring gauge.

โ€œThe lancero has always been my favoriteโ€”itโ€™s an elegant cigar, simple as that,โ€ said Miranda. โ€œAt the end of the day, I smoke what I enjoyโ€”and this is exactly that.โ€

The blend features a Dominican Corojo wrapper over a Nicaraguan Criollo โ€™98 binder, with fillers from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Brazil. Production takes place at La Aurora in the Dominican Republic.

Like the original release, the cigar will be produced in limited quantities, with 500 boxes of 10 cigars planned. Pricing is set at $18 per cigar.

The Nestor Miranda Private Reserve Lancero is expected to ship in July 2026 following its showing at PCA 2026.
