With the United States set to celebrate its 250th anniversary in 2026, Fratello Cigars has announced a commemorative release tied to the milestone. The company revealed the Fratello USA 250, a limited cigar that will debut at the upcoming Premium Cigar Association trade show.

The project is intended as a nod to the nation’s founding, specifically the thirteen colonies that declared independence in 1776. Fratello says the packaging reflects that history, with boxes containing 13 cigars to represent those original colonies.

“This project represents more than a milestone; it represents legacy, resilience, and the entrepreneurial spirit that built this country. The 13-count box symbolizes the original thirteen colonies — the core of a nation that changed the world,” said Omar de Frias.

The cigar joins the company’s PURO Collection and incorporates tobacco from several regions. Production is being handled by the Joya de Nicaragua factory in Nicaragua. According to the company, the cigars are scheduled to begin shipping to retailers in June 2026.
