ReviveR Maduro Introduced by Cigar Dojo & Aganorsa Leaf

One of Cigar Dojo’s most beloved collaborations is entering a dark new chapter. Cigar Dojo and Aganorsa Leaf are proud to announce ReviveR Maduro, the first blend variation in the ReviveR series since its debut in 2018.

Originally launched as a 100% Aganorsa-grown project highlighting the sweetness and elegance of Jalapa-grown Corojo tobaccos, ReviveR quickly became one of the Dojo’s most sought-after releases. It returned in 2021 with refreshed packaging but the same celebrated blend. Now, for the first time, the cigar evolves.

ReviveR Maduro maintains the soul of the original—most notably the signature Jalapa sweetness that defined the blend—while introducing a darker, more decadent expression. Wrapped in a Mexican San Andrés maduro leaf and reinforced by a double binder of Nicaraguan Aganorsa tobacco, the cigar features all-Nicaraguan tobaccos at the core, including a portion of Aganorsa Corojo 2012. The result is a fuller, richer profile that mirrors the original’s natural sweetness, now layered with cocoa, espresso, baking spice, and a deeper, earth-driven core.

As the name ReviveR itself is a palindrome, the concept of reflection plays a central role in this release. Where the original emphasized bright Jalapa sweetness, ReviveR Maduro flips the script—offering a darker interpretation that feels familiar yet intensified. It is, in many ways, a mirrored blend.

“The Reviver holds a special place in my heart because the original edition was the first project I was involved in after I joined Aganorsa that elevated the awareness and, more importantly, passion for the brand,” said Terence Reilly, vice president of sales and marketing at Aganorsa Leaf. “Consequently, there was an extra level of pressure to ensure this new maduro edition lives up to the hype of earlier releases. The result is a rich, decadent cigar that is a pleasure to validate. I hope you love it as much as we do.”

Eric Guttormson, owner and founder of Cigar Dojo, added, “ReviveR has always represented the quintessential Aganorsa profile, hitting on the graham-cracker-like Jalapa sweetness just right. With the Maduro, we wanted to keep that DNA intact while turning up the depth and texture. It’s familiar in all the right ways, yet darker, richer, and more viscous.”

ReviveR Maduro returns in updated yet recognizable packaging. Each slide-lid box once again includes a raw Aganorsa tobacco leaf from the famed farms of Nicaragua, inviting hobbyists to light the leaf and allow its aroma to set the mood before cutting the cigar itself. The bands maintain the mirrored ReviveR design introduced in 2021, now presented in a graphite-on-black color scheme that distinguishes the Maduro from its predecessors.

The cigar is rolled in a 6” x 54 toro format and will be sold exclusively through Atlantic Cigar Company. Production is limited, with pricing set at $120 per box. Dojoverse members will receive preferred pricing of $108 per box for a limited time, along with free shipping on qualifying orders.
