MBOMBAY Cigars has announced the upcoming release of MORA, a limited-production cigar that was rolled in 2019 and held for extended aging before its public debut. The cigars were produced in Costa Rica and will begin shipping to retailers on January 15, 2026.
According to the company, MORA was created as a small-batch project built around a blend of tobaccos from multiple growing regions. The cigar features a Mexican San Andrรฉs wrapper, an Ecuadorian binder, and fillers from Nicaragua, Honduras, and Pennsylvania, and was rolled at a Costa Rican factory in 2019.
MORA will ship in two sizes, each packed in 10-count boxes:
- Toro (6ยฝ ร 54) โ 2,764 boxes produced, $21.95 MSRP
- Robusto (5 ร 54) โ 2,768 boxes produced, $19.95 MSRP
MBOMBAY indicated that distribution will be limited to select retailers and that production numbers are fixed due to the projectโs small-batch nature and long post-roll aging process.
Both MORA vitolas are registered on the California Unflavored Tobacco List (UTL), making them eligible for sale in that state.
