Lure Cigars has reintroduced its Fish Stix cigar, expanding availability with new 10-count cellophane bundles alongside the previously released resealable 5-packs. The updated packaging options are intended to provide greater flexibility for smokers looking for a smaller format cigar in portable quantities.
Fish Stix is produced in a single 4.25 x 46 box-pressed Rothschild vitola. The blend features a Nicaraguan Habano 2000 wrapper over an Estelí ligero binder, with filler tobaccos sourced from Estelí, Jalapa, and Ometepe. The cigar is described as medium-full in strength, with flavor notes including dark roast coffee, leather, baking spices, and black pepper on the retrohale.
According to the company, the box-pressed format is designed to slightly adjust the blend’s balance while maintaining its ligero-forward profile. The cigar’s shape also nods visually to its namesake.
“We received feedback from customers wanting a few more ‘Fish Stix’ so we’ve made them available in 10-count cello bundles,” said owner Lou Cross. “We continue to offer this cigar in resealable 5-packs designed for convenience and portability and is the perfect size to toss in your tackle box, center console, or golf bag.”
Fish Stix is listed as an annual limited release and is offered at an MSRP of $8 per cigar. Both packaging formats include Boveda humidification, and distribution is handled by Valacari Cigars.
