CAO has announced an expansion to its Flathead cigar line with the introduction of Flathead Speed Shop Habano. The new release is scheduled to begin shipping to retailers on February 2, 2026, according to the company.
Flathead Speed Shop Habano features an Ecuador Habano wrapper paired with a Mexican San Andrรฉs binder and filler tobaccos from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The blend is described as medium-bodied, offering a different profile from previous Flathead releases while remaining within the lineโs established framework.
CAO notes that the blend delivers flavors including white pepper, leather, and earth. All cigars are produced in Honduras and packaged in red-and-white boxes inspired by automotive garage culture.
The Speed Shop Habano line will debut in three sizes, including a new 6.5 x 54 vitola, alongside two larger formats already familiar to Flathead smokers.
โAs the #1-selling brand in CAO, Flathead has earned its reputation through bold character and unmistakable style,โ said Cory Beardsley, Brand Manager for CAO. โSpeed Shop gives us a new lane to explore, a cigar with the same spirit but a different feel. Itโs crafted for smokers who appreciate performance with purpose and a profile you can drive every day.โ
Flathead Speed Shop Habano will be offered in 24-count boxes, with suggested retail pricing varying by size.
