HVC is expanding its Hot Cake Fresh Out the Oven Broadleaf line with a new 6½ x 52 Figurado box press, set to arrive at select retailers next week. The addition marks the first time this blend has been offered in a figurado format.

The blend features a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and Nicaraguan fillers—all produced at Fábrica de Tabacos HVC S.A. The company says the new shape aims to highlight transitions in flavor while retaining the warm, layered profile already familiar to fans of the Broadleaf Hot Cake.

“I’ve always been a fan of the Broadleaf wrapper,” the company noted. “To me, the sweetness it delivers is like nothing else.”

The first batch is limited to 240 boxes, each containing 25 cigars. Retail pricing is set at $14.40 per cigar.

This release continues HVC’s trend of revisiting core lines with new formats, offering retailers limited-run extensions to established blends.
