Cigar Dojo and Black Star Line Cigars combine forces for one of the hardest-hitting smokes to come out of the famed Aganorsa Leaf factory: YASUKE.

UPDATE: Yasuke cigars are now officially sold out. Kicking off at 12pm Eastern on Friday, 10/4/2024, the sale lasted 12 hours before the final bundle was sold.

The Yasuke cigar is a collaboration between Cigar Dojo and Black Star Line Cigars, marking the first joint project between the two brands. Named after Yasuke, the first black samurai who served the Japanese daimyō Oda Nobunaga in the 16th century, this limited-edition release reflects a unique fusion of cultural influences. The Yasuke cigar pays tribute to this historical figure, blending Cigar Dojo’s Japanese-inspired design with Black Star Line’s dedication to storytelling and craftsmanship. Available exclusively through Smoke Inn, the Yasuke offers a distinctive smoking experience with deep roots in both history and diversity.

Crafted at the renowned Aganorsa Leaf factory in Nicaragua, the Yasuke features a Nicaraguan Corojo 2012 wrapper and binder, paired with a filler blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos from Jalapa and Estelí, as well as a Mexican San Andrés portion. The cigar provides a medium-full body with bold, stick-to-your-ribs flavors, including pulled pork, sweet hickory, toasted almonds, and nutmeg, complemented by a subtle sweetness on the lips. Available in a 6” x 52 toro format, it features a pigtail cap inspired by the samurai’s topknot, making it not only a flavorful but visually striking release, with only 300 bundles in existence!
