Announced leading up to the holidays, the non-Cuban Cohiba brand has revealed a super-premium humidor dubbed Cohiba Biometric Humidor, offering a luxurious aesthetic, a wide range of Cohiba cigars, and a unique unlocking mechanism.
The Cohiba Biometric Humidor is finished in a high-gloss red and black lacquer, having a unique design that opens to reveal a staggered tier of cigar trays. There are 106 cigars included with the humidor, ranging from Cohiba classics to a proprietary release dubbed Cohiba Red Dot Reserve, which is exclusive for the humidor.
Cohiba Brand Ambassador Sean Williams said, “The Biometric Humidor is the quintessential representation of the Cohiba brand. The humidor and the cigars within pay homage to the art of cigar making and assert Cohiba’s position as an alchemist of craftsmanship, style and extravagant taste in the handmade cigar space.”
One of the more unique aspects of the Cohiba Biometric Humidor is the locking mechanism, which uses biometric technology, allowing the humidor to be opened either by the owner’s fingerprint or by an enclosed key.

The Cohiba Biometric Humidor is priced at $5,500 MSRP (limited to 130 units), and will begin shipping to retailers in mid-November.
