Romeo by Romeo y Julieta was among the cigars to lead the charge of modernized smoking experiences under Altadis’ large collection of legacy brands, including Romeo y Julieta, Montecristo, Trinidad, and Henry Clay, among others. The cigar featured a bolder appearance and added body, going on to be named Cigar Aficionado’s No. 3 Cigar of the Year for 2012.

The brand is now receiving a 6″ x 60 gordo format under the name Magnum, featuring the same blend that includes an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Dominican binder, and all-Dominican fillers.

Made with the finest tobaccos carefully selected and delicately aged, Romeo cigars are meticulously crafted at the famed Tabacalera de García factory. This new Romeo is for those adult connoisseurs who understand that bigger sometimes really is better.Rafael Nodal, head of product capability for Tabacalera USA

The new size marks the fifth size in the Romeo line, which began shipping to retailers on June 12th. The cigars are packaged in boxes of 20, retailing for $10.85 MSRP per cigar.
