Drew Estate has partnered with Small Batch Cigar (aka Maxamar Ultimate Cigars) to introduce a new, shop-exclusive offering within the Herrera EstelĂ lineup. The cigars are titled “Inktome”, with a slightly tweaked blend for the new 6 x 46 box-pressed Corona Gorda vitola.

The blend showcases extensively aged tobaccos from the EstelĂ and Jalapa growing regions of Nicaragua, with a spicy Honduran Binder and a higher priming Ecuadorian Habano Wrapper than the core Herrera EstelĂ line.

The cigars are intended to offer a more rich and full smoking experience, with Master Blender Willy Herrera drawing inspiration from cigar enthusiast’s demand for a Herrera EstelĂ in a Norteño shape.

“Adjusting blends based on new sizes is something that I enjoy doing at the factory because it challenges my palette to keep the blends balanced and aligned within the portfolio. I was reading on Reddit that consumers wanted to see a Herrera EstelĂ in a Norteño format. Something that was simple, yet different.”

— Willy Herrera

The cigars were first introduced at last night’s Drew Estate event at Maxamar Ultimate Cigars and will soon be available at Small Batch Cigar for online orders. Drew Estate has also added Inktome to their newly-released Drew Diplomat app for check-in.
