Nearly 2 years after the original “The Big Payback” cigar release, Matt Booth and Room101 are set to debut the new Big Payback Connecticut—launching on February 22, 2016.

As with the original, the cigars share the same vitolas: Chavala (5″ x 50), Hueso (6″ x 60), and Culero (7″ x 70). They have not announced an  8″ x 80 size, matching 2015’s line extension. Pricing has been set to align with the original blend as well, ranging from $5.50 – $7.50.

Unlike the original, the cigars are not Nicaraguan puros, or even puros at all, for that matter. Instead, Room101 has opted for quite the reverse, using a multi-national blend that ranges from Ecuador (Connecticut wrapper), to Mexico (binder), to the Dominican Republic (three DR regions for filler).

Packaging has been made to resemble the original design, only reversing the theme with white and gold, replacing the black and silver from the original. They will be available in 30 and 50-ct boxes, with limited quantities of 10-ct boxes as well.

Brand ambassador Matt Booth will be traveling the country, hosting in-shop events to launch the new line beginning in late February.

The full schedule of events will be updated on the Room101 Facebook page.
