The Association of Dominican Cigar Manufacturers (PROCIGAR) has opened registration for the 19th annual PROCIGAR Festival, scheduled for February 16–19, 2027, in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.
The annual event provides cigar enthusiasts with a behind-the-scenes look at the Dominican Republic’s premium cigar industry. The 2027 schedule will once again include factory and tobacco field tours, educational sessions, cigar-focused discussions, tastings, cultural events, and evening activities hosted by PROCIGAR member companies.
The festival concludes with PROCIGAR’s Auction Gala Dinner. The evening features a charity auction with humidors, collectible cigar lots, limited-edition releases, and other items donated by participating cigar companies. Proceeds from the auction support charitable initiatives within the Dominican Republic.
For 2027, PROCIGAR is adding two new experiences to the festival schedule. The PROCIGAR Hopping Tour will take attendees on a series of shorter visits to strategic partners and companies that make up portions of the Dominican tobacco industry.
Also new is the PROCIGAR Discovery Tour, which will provide attendees with another guided look at the country’s tobacco and cigar industry from PROCIGAR’s perspective.
The 2027 edition marks the festival’s 19th year and will once again be centered in Santiago, one of the primary hubs of premium cigar production in the Dominican Republic.
