Most cigar companies wait for the big milestones before rolling out an anniversary cigar. Not Room101. Matt Booth has turned the brand’s birthday into an annual tradition, with each year getting its own unique Anniversary release. The latest is the limited Room101 17th Anniversary, made in collaboration with AJ Fernandez.

Rather than revisiting the same blend year after year, Room101 creates an entirely new cigar for each Anniversary release. According to the company, the 17th Anniversary is a Nicaraguan puro that begins with pepper and spice before transitioning to notes of dark chocolate, roasted espresso, and earth.

“Every Anniversary cigar is a snapshot of where we are at that moment. They aren’t meant to repeat themselves because neither do we. That’s the whole point. Seventeen years in, we’re still finding new places to go,” said Matt Booth, Founder and Creative Director of Room101 Cigars.

The Room101 17th Anniversary is scheduled to begin shipping to retailers this month in a single 6 x 52 Toro vitola. The cigar will be packaged in 20-count boxes with a suggested retail price of $15.89 per cigar.
