Ceniza Fina Cigars has begun shipping its newest release, the CT Broadleaf, to retailers across the country. The cigar becomes the third regular production blend from the company since the brand debuted in 2024.

The new release follows the original Corojo blend and last year’s Connecticut offering, giving the Arizona-based company a darker profile built around a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. Production once again takes place at Tabacalera La iSLA in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, under Hostos Fernรกndez Quesada.

The blend consists of a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over a Mexican binder with fillers from Piloto Cubano, Criollo ’98, Nicaraguan Jalapa, and HVA tobaccos. According to the company, the cigar offers notes of cocoa, dark chocolate, sweet molasses, espresso, and black pepper. Strength is listed as medium to full.

All four sizes are box-pressed and include a 5ยฝ x 48 Corona ($13), 5 x 52 Robusto ($13.50), 6 x 52 Toro ($14), and 5ยฝ x 56 Robusto Gordo ($15). The cigars are packaged in 20-count boxes, with distribution handled by Pospiech Cigars.

โ€œWeโ€™ve spent years learning what our smokers reach for, and a lot of them kept asking us to go bolder. The CT Broadleaf is our answer, itโ€™s the boldest weโ€™ve put our name on. Thereโ€™s now a Ceniza Fina for everyoneโ€™s taste,โ€ said Sam and Rosie Lopez, owners of Ceniza Fina and Fine Ash Cigars.
