Casa Carrillo is adding two new cigars to its Encore lineup with the release of Encore Noir II and Encore Ediciรณn รšnica II. Both cigars are limited editions produced exclusively for the company’s international distribution partners and are now shipping.

Although both releases carry the Encore name, they take different approaches. Encore Noir II follows the original Noir release but uses a new blend rather than recreating its predecessor. The cigar is made entirely from Nicaraguan tobacco and is offered in the Celestial No. 2 vitola, measuring 6โ…› x 50. Production is limited to 1,500 individually numbered boxes of 10 cigars.

Encore Ediciรณn รšnica II serves as the second annual release in that series and introduces a new blend and format. Ernesto Perez-Carrillo selected the No. 109 factory shape, a 6ยฝ x 54 vitola with a tapered head that carries the name Amigos. Like Encore Noir II, it is an all-Nicaraguan puro, though the tobaccos used in the blend have been aged for a minimum of five years before production.

“Every Ediciรณn รšnica is an opportunity to create something truly special,” said Ernesto Perez-Carrillo. “With Amigos, we wanted to showcase the beauty of the No. 109 format while allowing carefully aged tobaccos to deliver remarkable balance, complexity, and refinement.”

Production of Encore Ediciรณn รšnica II is limited to 1,100 individually numbered boxes, with each box containing 10 cigars.

Both cigars are handcrafted at Casa Carrillo’s factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic, and are shipping now to the company’s international distribution partners.
