Powstanie is adding a new regular-production line called Powstanie Sumatra, with the cigar set to make its debut at the PCA trade show in New Orleans.

The new blend uses an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over dual binders from Mexico and Pennsylvania, with fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. Production is taking place at Nica Sueรฑo in Nicaragua.

At launch, the line will be offered in four sizes: Petite Robusto (4ยพ x 50), Grand Robusto (5ยฝ x 52), Grand Toro (6ยผ x 52), and Churchill (7 x 48). Pricing ranges from $13.50 to $16 per cigar, and the cigars will be packaged in 21-count boxes.

According to the company, the first production run will total about 20,000 cigars across the four vitolas, with shipping expected shortly after the PCA Trade Show.
