The Byron 175th Anniversary Humidor, first shown at PCA 2025, is now beginning to ship to select retailers, with initial deliveries expected to arrive in the coming weeks.
Produced by Selected Tobacco, the project was created to mark 175 years of the Byron brand. Production is limited to 175 individually numbered units, each built around a multi-compartment design that includes hidden storage areas, accessory drawers, and integrated humidification.
Each humidor contains 60 cigars split evenly across four Byron lines: Byron 1850 No. 3, 19th Century Grand Poemas, 20th Century Habaneros, and 21st Century Elegantes. According to the company, all cigars included in the release have undergone at least five years of aging prior to packaging.
The humidor also includes a cigar case and ashtray designed to match the overall presentation, along with built-in features such as a concealed hygrometer, temperature gauge, and locking system.
“For me, Byron is not only a cigar,” said Nelson Alfonso, Founder of Selected Tobacco. “It is the story of my family, my country, and time itself. This humidor was created to honor that story.”
With production complete and shipments underway, the release moves from its initial trade show debut into retail distribution. No additional units are planned beyond the original run.
