German Engineered Cigars has announced the upcoming release of RVGN Extrem, a new addition to its RVGN Rauchvergnรผgen lineup.

Described by the company as โ€œAromatic Journey: Leading the race on Nรผrburgring, managing the wet track. Achtung Nordschleife!โ€ the cigar is positioned as a more demanding counterpart within the RVGN series. The brand compares the experience to driving the Nรผrburgring in challenging conditions, stating that while RVGN Rauchvergnรผgen represents โ€œa sunny morning on Nรผrburgring in an open race car,โ€ RVGN Extrem is โ€œthe same track in a tight race and in the rain – faster, more demanding, and intensely rewarding.โ€

RVGN Extrem is a medium-bodied, Dominican-made longfiller. It features an aged Mexican Cuban Seed wrapper, a Dominican Olor binder from the Jacagua zone, and a filler blend of Piloto Cubano and Criollo 98 tobaccos sourced from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.

According to the companyโ€™s tasting description, the wrapper presents notes of honey and mint, with a cold draw offering lavender, wet grass, and rain-like qualities. Once lit, the profile is said to include oak, alpine herbs, wet leather, pine, espresso, dark cocoa, cherries, and white pepper.

The cigar will be offered in a 6.25 x 52 Toro format, listed by the company as 54 cmยณ. It will also introduce a new NFC-enabled cigar band. By tapping the band with a compatible smartphone, users can access blend details, aromatic descriptions, serial number information, and production date data.

The suggested retail price is set at $18 per cigar. Availability and ordering details are expected to be announced at a later date.
