Avowed Cigar Company has announced the addition of a new core line to its portfolio with the release of Hallowed Hands, a project that reflects on the people and craftsmanship behind premium cigar production. The line is scheduled to begin shipping to retailers nationwide on February 13.
Hallowed Hands debuts in three vitolasโCorona Gorda, Box-Pressed Robusto, and Toroโmarking several milestones for the brand. It is Avowedโs first release to feature an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper, its first box-pressed cigar, and its first core line to launch with three vitolas simultaneously.
Production took place at Kelner Cigars in the Dominican Republic, where each vitola was rolled start to finish by a single pair of rollers. The Corona Gorda and Toro were completed in 2024, with the Box-Pressed Robusto following shortly after. The Box-Pressed Robusto also includes Pennsylvania Broadleaf in the filler, distinguishing it from the other sizes in the lineup.
The cigar is packaged in 15-count boxes, each featuring 15 unique bands inspired by fingerprints, a visual theme intended to highlight individual contributions within the cigar-making process.
โWith The Vow, we made a commitment. With New Dawn, we looked to the future. Hallowed Hands calls us to stop and reflect. Every time I light one up, I’m reminded of the people who shaped us, who gave us the tools and the belief to build something worth passing on. This cigar honors every hand that had a part in making us who we are today,โ said Avowed co-founder Andrew Considine.
Co-founder Dave West echoed the sentiment, emphasizing the broader community behind the project.
โHallowed Hands is a celebration of the guiding lights in our lives. The opportunity to do what we love and add to the cigar community is an incredible honor โ one that we would not have without many others in our lifetime and beyond paving the way. I am particularly grateful for Andrew Considine’s considerable influence, friendship, and tenacity over the last decade,โ West said.
The release arrives as Avowed Cigars marks its first anniversary, coinciding with Valentineโs Day.
